Rates
I offer individual, couples and family therapy sessions. Typically, sessions take place on a weekly basis, but depending upon your specific needs, they may be scheduled more or less frequently. Once an appointment is scheduled you are responsible for payment unless you cancel 24 hours prior to the session.
Insurance
Therapy is an investment of time, effort and resources. I currently am not in network with any insurance plans. However, depending on your out of network benefits I am happy to submit documentation to your insurance company in order to help you receive any reimbursement available to you. An option to assist with this is Better, a HIPPA compliant service that serves as your patient advocate in making sure my documentation is correct, submitted to the appropriate people, and reimbursements are received and detailed information is understood by you. Their payment is 10% of whatever money you get back from the insurance company. To learn about these benefits, call the member number on the back of your insurance card and ask about out-of-network-benefits. I’d recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:
- Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
- Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
- Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
- Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?
Payment
I accept cash, check and all major credit cards as forms of payment.
Cancellation Policy
Due to the demand for sessions and respect of time scheduled, you will be charged the full fee for cancelled sessions with less than 24 hours notice.
